Home Easy Home Automation
Home automation is increasingly becoming a key factor in energy management. All of the products in the Home Easy range will help you save energy by controlling your energy usage.
The Home Easy remote (HE100) is a great example of this and gives the user the ability to control a range of indoor lighting and outdoor controls, central heating, sockets and even doors (using the door release kit).
The Home Easy range offers a range of practical solutions that are simple to use and easy to install; all of which will help you reduce energy wastage. The Home Easy range even has the ability to be remotely controlled using the SMS Base Station.

LED Lighting
Over the last few years, LED lights have become more and more popular. This is largely due to technological advancements, and the reduction in purchase costs; making them the most efficient energy saving light bulbs.
LED light bulbs come in a variety of different styles, sizes and power outputs. GU10 led bulbs are available from several high quality brands, such as Aurora, British Electric Lighting, GAP Lighting, Kosnic, Megaman etc; all of which are direct replacements for halogen GU10 bulbs.
LED light bulbs have two major advantages. The first is that they use much less energy to run. For example, a 5W GU10 led light bulb is the equivalent of a 50W halogen bulb. Replacing these would give an annual saving of over £4.50 per year per bulb.
LED lights have a far greater lifespan than most other light bulbs, and using this same 5W GU10 led light bulb, you would save £135 per bulb over its life; which if used for 4 hours a day would last over 20 years and save 19.46 kg per year in CO2 emissions.

Lighting, Heating and Ventilation Controls
Much of the energy wasted in our homes, and businesses, are a result of things like lighting, heating and ventilation being left on unnecessarily. Up until recently, motion sensors, switches PIR lighting controls have been mainly used in businesses but new, stylish products, designed to suit contemporary interiors are becoming increasingly popular.
Presence detectors are a great part of energy management and an effective way to control energy wastage in both the business and home. PIR lighting controls (or passive infrared) work by reducing the amount of time lighting is left on in areas that aren't regularly used.
Motion sensors, switches and light sensors can be used in many places such as schools, hotels, offices, retail spaces etc and can be used to control lighting, heating and ventilation, through both PIR switches and presence dete
